New No1 Lounge Opens to Elevate Comfort and Style for Travellers at London Luton Airport

December 14, London: Airport Dimensions, the global leader in developing airport experiences, and joint venture partner Swissport, have today opened their newest lounge at London Luton Airport (LLA) operated under the No1 Lounge brand.

The new No1 Lounge at London Luton has capacity for 70 guests and offers a variety of seating options, from comfortable lounge chairs to quieter meeting spaces; while natural light filters through the lounge window spaces offering airfield views.

During their visit, guests can expect the high standards of service that are available in all other No1 Lounges including complimentary food and beverages, with a selection of premium beers, spirits, and wines served from a fully staffed bar, and a variety of culinary delights catering to different tastes, including cooked and continental breakfasts, and an afternoon menu with vegan and vegetarian options.

The lounge’s modern design, featuring a contemporary colour scheme, plush textures, and unique feature wallpaper, is complemented by essential amenities like Wi-Fi, flight information screens, a TV lounge, newspapers and magazines, ensuring a guest experience that blends style and practicality.

Conveniently located airside next to gate 17, the new No1 Lounge is accessible to Priority Pass and Lounge Key cardholders whilst less frequent travellers can opt for the convenience of pre-booking their visit directly via the No1 website at no1lounges.com.

Later in 2024, the joint venture SwissportALD will open the previously announced My Lounge at London Luton Airport to further expand the range of choice on offer for millions of passengers who travel through the airport annually.

The partnership currently operates 13 airport lounges across Birmingham, London Gatwick and London Heathrow. These form part of Airport Dimensions global network of 52 lounges, with further plans for expansion at key airports over the next few years.

Errol McGlothan, President of Airport Dimensions, EMEA & APAC said: “The opening of this fantastic new No1 Lounge at one of the UK’s busiest airports marks another significant step on our journey to expand our presence and choice for travellers. We’re committed to continuous improvement in the experiences we’re creating, so every new lounge opening presents us with opportunities to strengthen and refine our offer.

“It's been a pleasure collaborating with London Luton Airport in bringing this space to life. The design and proposition will reflect the very best of our No1 Lounge brand. I’m looking forward to hearing some great feedback from guests and playing our part in making their journeys even more enjoyable.”

Shaun Weston, Managing Director of No1 Lounges, a SwissportALD Holdings company commented: ‘‘We’re incredibly excited to bring No1 Lounges to London Luton Airport and to be expanding our UK network of lounges to 13, soon to be 14 (Summer 2024) lounges across 4 sites; Gatwick, Birmingham, Heathrow and now Luton.
The team we have built up at Luton in recent months have been working hard to open this lounge ahead of the festive break so we can begin to welcome passengers.
The lounge has been designed with No1 Lounge’s evolution in styling, creating stylish and comfortable lounge experiences for those travelling through Luton Airport. Our signature service and variety of food and beverages will be brought to this lounge to give travellers variety and choice. I’m looking forward to working closely with Luton Airport to help create memorable experiences for our guests.’’
