Airport Dimensions and Lima Airport Partners Expand Premium Offering with Third Lounge at Jorge Chávez International Airport

Airport Dimensions has strengthened its investment in Lima with the opening of a second The Club lounge for international departures at Jorge Chávez International Airport. The opening marks the latest stage in the company’s growing relationship with Lima Airport Partners (LAP) and expands its lounge portfolio to three locations at the fast-growing airport which is expected to handle 26.5 million passengers by the end of this year.
Together with Sleepover and Priority Lane, Airport Dimensions now offers five premium services across Jorge Chávez International Airport, reflecting continued confidence in Lima’s growth and a shared ambition with LAP to give travelers greater choice in their airport experience.
The existing The Club lounges in Lima have already welcomed more than one million guests, reinforcing the demand for premium experiences in Lima and the sustained investment opportunity in the market.
This expansion meets that need and comes as Jorge Chávez International Airport continues to establish its role as a major airport in the region, with increasing demand for lounge offerings across both domestic and international travel. Airport Dimensions’ latest global traveler research (AX26) found that global lounge usage among regular travelers surveyed has reached 52%, an 11% increase over the previous year, illustrating the growing role they play in shaping the overall airport experience.
Reflecting these changing expectations, the new 1,238-square-metre lounge has been designed to give international travelers greater choice in how they spend their time before departure. With capacity for 374 guests, the space includes dedicated relaxation areas, productivity-focused spaces, and family-friendly facilities including a dedicated children's zone. The lounge’s food and beverage offering includes buffet-style dining including a selection of local and international cuisine, two signature dishes crafted by chef Ignacio Barrios, and a premium beverage offering.
The lounge's design draws inspiration from Peru's diverse geography, guiding guests on a visual journey from Lima's Pacific coastline to the foothills of the Andes. Natural textures, locally inspired design elements and carefully curated interiors create a strong sense of place while celebrating the country's cultural and environmental richness.
Giorgio Benza, Vice President, Latin America at Airport Dimensions, said: "Our continued growth at Jorge Chávez International Airport reflects our confidence in Lima and the strength of our relationship with Lima Airport. Together, we have continued to identify opportunities to respond to changing traveler needs and create premium experiences that add real value to the airport journey.
“This third lounge is another important step in that journey. Alongside Sleepover and Priority Lane, it gives us an increasingly connected portfolio across the airport and demonstrates our commitment to investing in Lima and supporting its development as one of Latin America’s leading aviation hubs.”
Norbert Onkelbach, Chief Commercial Officer at Lima Airport Partners, said: “The opening of Airport Dimensions' third lounge at Jorge Chávez International Airport reflects the scale of ambition we share for the future of travel in Peru. Together, we have continued to expand the range of premium services available to passengers, creating a more connected and seamless airport experience that responds to evolving traveller expectations.
"As the airport continues to strengthen its position as a key gateway for the region,
partnerships like this play an important role in enhancing the overall passenger experience, providing travellers with greater choice, quality and comfort throughout their journey, reinforcing Lima’s role as a leading airport for international connectivity."
With three lounges, Sleepover and Priority Lane now operating at Jorge Chávez International Airport, Lima has become Airport Dimensions’ most comprehensive proposition globally – demonstrating how complementary premium experiences can provide travelers with greater choice across different stages of their journey.
